Consent log and statistics
The anonymised consent log for GDPR audits, its CSV export and 13-month retention, and the consent statistics with no personal data.

Under the GDPR you must be able to show that a visitor consented. The plugin keeps two kinds of records on the Statistics tab, both in your own database.
Consent statistics
Counts of Accept all, Reject all and custom choices over the last 7, 30 or 90 days. Only daily totals are stored: no IP addresses, no visitor identifiers and no cookies.
Consent log
One record per choice, for audits:
| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Visitor | A keyed hash of the IP address and browser. The IP address itself is never stored |
| Choice | Accept, reject or custom |
| Categories | Which categories were allowed |
| Version | The plugin version that recorded the choice |
| Time | When the choice was made |
The hash is keyed with your site’s secret salt, so it cannot be reversed by trying common IP addresses and browsers.
Records older than 13 months are deleted automatically.
Export and delete
- Export CSV downloads every record for an audit or a data request.
- Purge All Records deletes the whole log and the statistics. This cannot be undone.
When the plugin is uninstalled
Deleting the plugin removes the log table, the statistics and every setting from the database. Your WordPress Privacy Policy page is never deleted.
